Energy per unit of time is known as power

so here let say initial power is P in which energy E expended in time interval t

so we can say

P = \frac{E}{t}

now energy expended is double while it took half time

so new power expended will be

P' = \frac{2E}{t/2}

P' = \frac{4E}{t}

so here we can say that now the power expended will be 4 times the initial power

a steel ball bearing is released from a height hhh and rebounds after hitting a steel plate to a height hhh. what is true about
lbvjy [14]

In collision of the steel ball and the steel plate, the collision is an inelastic collision and there is loss in the kinetic energy.

What are collisions?

Collisions occur when two objects that are moving in the same directions or in different direction meet each other and collide.

There are two types of collisions:

 • elastic collision - the kinetic energy is conserved
 • inelastic collision - there is a loss in kinetic energy

In the collision of the steel ball and the steel plate, there is loss in the kinetic energy of the steel ball which is converted to sound energy.

In conclusion, the collision of the steel and steel plate is an inelastic collision.

A compound consisting of only phosphorous and oxygen atoms is 43.64 % phosphorus by mass.The molecular mass/formula weight of th
DanielleElmas [232]
First, we calculate the mass of Phosphorous present:
283.88 x 0.4364
= 123.88 amu
Atomic mass of P is 31 amu

moles of P = mass / Ar
= 123.88 / 31
= 4.0 moles

We know that one mole of substance has 6.02 x 10²³ particles
Atoms of P = 4 x 6.02 x 10²³
= 2.41 x 10²⁴ atoms

How much heat is released as a 5.89 kg block of aluminum cools from 462 °C to 315 °C. The specific heat capacity of aluminum is
s2008m [1.1K]
Mass, m = 5890g
Change in temperature, θ = Final_temperature - Initial_temperature
= 315 - 462°C
= -147°C

Specific heat capacity of aluminum, c = 0.900 J/(g*K)
=mcθ
=5890g x 0.900 J/(g*K) x -147°C
=-779,247j

Answer would be C.
