I've got a great idea !  Let's calculate the car's average speed !

Average speed  =  (distance covered)  /  (time to cover the distance)

  Distance covered = (position at the end) - (position at the beginning)

                               =  (295.7 m) - (176.5 m)  =  119.2 m

Average speed  =  (119.2 m)  /  (12.4 s)  =  9.61  'm' per 's' .

In the model of the hydrogen atom due to Niels Bohr, the electron moves around the proton at a speed of 3.3 × 106 m/s in a circl
irga5000 [103]

Answer:

1.5048\times 10^{-23}\ Am^2

Explanation:

q = Charge of proton = 1.6\times 10^{-19}\ C

r = Radius of circle = 5.7\times 10^{-11}\ m

v = Velocity of proton = 3.3\times 10^6\ m/s

Magnetic moment is given by

M=\frac{1}{2}qrv\\\Rightarrow M=\frac{1}{2}1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 5.7\times 10^{-11}\times 3.3\times 10^6\\\Rightarrow M=1.5048\times 10^{-23}\ Am^2

The magnetic moment associated with this motion is 1.5048\times 10^{-23}\ Am^2

On your first trip to Planet X you happen to take along a 280 g mass, a 40-cm-long spring, a meter stick, and a stopwatch. You'r
arsen [322]

Answer:

5.31143691523 m/s²

Explanation:

m = Mass = 280 g

x = Displacement of spring = 21.7 cm

Time period

T=\dfrac{14}{11}\\\Rightarrow T=1.27\ s

Angular velocity is given by

\omega=\dfrac{2\pi}{T}\\\Rightarrow \omega=\dfrac{2\pi}{1.27}\\\Rightarrow \omega=4.94739\ rad/s

\omega=\sqrt{\dfrac{k}{m}}\\\Rightarrow k=\omega^2m\\\Rightarrow k=4.94739^2\times 0.28\\\Rightarrow k=6.85346698739\ N/m

From Hooke's law

mg=kx\\\Rightarrow g=\dfrac{kx}{m}\\\Rightarrow g=\dfrac{6.85346698739\times 0.217}{0.28}\\\Rightarrow g=5.31143691523\ m/s^2

The acceleration due to gravity on the planet is 5.31143691523 m/s²

Yes, I have been able to satisfy my curiosity.

A 0.54 kg particle has a speed of 5.0 m/s at point A and kinetic energy of 7.5 J at point B. What is
Wewaii [24]

<u>Answers</u>

(a)  6.75 Joules.

(b)  5.27 m/s

(c) 0.75 Joules

<u>Explanation</u>

Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by a body in motion.

(a) its kinetic energy at A?

K.E = 1/2 mv²

       = 1/2 ×  0.54 × 5²

       = 6.75 Joules.

(b) its speed at point B?

K.E = 1/2 mv²

7.5 = 1/2 × 0.54 × V²

V² = 7.5 ÷ 0.27

     = 27.77778

V = √27.77778

   = 5.27 m/s

(c) the total work done on the particle as it moves from A to B?

Work done = 7.5 - 6.75

                 = 0.75 Joules
