Answer:

This will need  715.806 J of heat energy to raise the temperature.

Explanation:

To calculate how much heat is needed to raise the temperature of any substance, you need:

The mass of the substance,  m, which for you is 9g

The temperature change that occurs,  ΔT, which for you is 19ºC.

The specific heat capacity of the substance,  c  (which you can look up here: http://www2.ucdsb.on.ca/tiss/stretton/Database/Specific_Heat_Capacity_Table.html

), (It is the amount of heat required to raise 1 gram of that substance by 1°C.)

For water, the value of  c  is  4.186J/g°C

Then, this is the equation you need:

Q=mcΔT

Where Q is the heat needed

So,

Q=(9g)(4.186J/gC)(19C)=715.806 J

You need 715.806J to raise the temperature of water by 19ºC

Technician A says that the cooling system should be tested for leaks using a pressure-operated pressure pump. Technician B says
mart [117]

Answer:

The correct option is;

Technician A only

Explanation:

Leaks in the cooling system parts such as the radiator cap can be tested with a pressure operated hand pump by attaching the pump cap to the pump with an adaptor and apply pressure enough for there to be a release of pressure at the cap.

The pressure added to the system should be maintained for up to two minutes. If the pressure drops quicker, then there is likely to be leaks in the system

The freezing and boiling point of the coolant is measured with an antifreeze tester which carries the appropriate apparatus to measure the coolants freezing and boiling points.
