Answer:

Required Volume is 22.47ml

Explanation:

To make 2.0L of 0.2M sulfuric acid required moles = 0.2 x 2 = 0.4 moles

To get 0.4 from 17.8M required quantity = 1000/17.8 x 0.4 = 22.47ml

How are the three lines of defense the same? They all involve producing fever. They all involve fighting pathogens. They all inv
raketka [301]

Answer:

THEY ALL INVOLVE FIGHTING PATHOGENS

Explanation:

The immune system which is involved in defending the body against infections are diseases involves three lines of defense which are all involved in fighting against pathogens. Pathogens are invaders which when introduced into the body causes harm and therefore makes us sick. The body's first line of defense includes the physical barriers such as the skin, mucous membrane; chemical barriers such as tears, saliva, gastric acid in the stomach. These helps to keep the pathogens from entering the delicate parts of the body and once the pathogens find their way out of the reach of the first line of defense, the second line of defense is initiated. This includes inflammatory effects, swelling, redness, phagocytosis by neutrophils and macrophages. The third line of defense is the actions of lymphocytes which acts on invading microbes. The lymphocytes are of two types; the B and T cells. B cells produces antibodies which fight the antigens and T cells attack the infected cells of the body. There is also the memory cells which keeps information about the invading microbes for future attacks. This enables the body to respond swiftly when next the same type of pathogens attack.

A cell in the leaf of a corn plant contains more chloroplasts than a cell in the stem of a corn plant. Based on this observation
Alik [6]

Answer:

This question lacks options, the options are:

A). synthesizes more sugar

B). has a higher chromosome count

C). produces fewer proteins

D). uses less carbon dioxide

The answer is A

Explanation:

The chloroplast is an organelle present in the cells of photosynthetic organisms. It is the site where photosynthesis, which is the production of food (sugars) from sunlight energy, occurs.

According to this question, a cell in the leaf of a corn plant contains more chloroplasts than a cell in the stem of the same corn plant. Based on this observation, it can be inferred that the LEAF CELLS WILL SYNTHESIZE MORE SUGARS THAN THE STEM CELL because the more the chloroplast, the higher the photosynthetic rate and subsequently the higher the amount of sugar produced.

aivan3 [116]

Answer:

Explanation:

A tetrahedral carbon is__sp³__hybridized while a linear carbon is__sp___hybridized. Two different compounds that have the same molecular formula are known as___isomers____. Pi (π) bonds are generally_weaker (because they overlapped side ways)___than sigma (sigma) bonds. Hybridization is the combination of two or more__atomic ____orbitals to form the same number of__hybrid (combined  s and p)__orbitals, each having the same shape and energy. A_pi (π)____bond is formed by side-by-side overlap of two p orbitals. The_electronegativity___is a measure of an atom's attraction for electrons in a bond and indicates how much a particular atom ''wants" electrons. Two Lewis structures that have the same atomic placement and a structure but a different arrangement of pi electrons are called_Resonance structure____. All single bonds are___sigma__bonds.
