I'm not entirely sure of how complex or simple you need them so I'll put a few options that all solve to x = 16.

7x - 6 = 106

x / 4 = 4

3x + 7 = 55

8x = 128

There can be many:
1)X-16=0
2)X+16=32
3)8X+16=48
AND THERE CAN BE MANY MORE.
HOPE IT HELPS!!!!

Complete the identity
spin [16.1K]

Answer: cos(\pi-x)=-cos(x)

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to apply the following identity:

cos(A - B) = cos A*cos B + sinA*sin B

Then, applying this, you know that for cos(\pi-x):

cos(\pi-x)=cos(\pi)*cos(x)+sin(\pi)*sin(x)

We need to remember that:

cos(\pi)=-1 and sin(\pi)=0

Therefore, we need to substitute these values into cos(\pi-x)=cos(\pi)*cos(x)+sin(\pi)*sin(x).

Then, you get:

cos(\pi-x)=(-1)*cos(x)+0*sin(x)

cos(\pi-x)=-1cos(x)+0

cos(\pi-x)=-cos(x)

Answer:  \bold{-\dfrac{1}{2}}

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Average rate of change is the slope (m) between the two coordinates (-1, -1) and (1, -2).

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

m = \dfrac{-2+1}{1+1}

   =-\dfrac{1}{2}
