I'm not entirely sure of how complex or simple you need them so I'll put a few options that all solve to x = 16.

7x - 6 = 106

x / 4 = 4

3x + 7 = 55

8x = 128

There can be many:
1)X-16=0
2)X+16=32
3)8X+16=48
AND THERE CAN BE MANY MORE.
HOPE IT HELPS!!!!

What is the leading coefficient of the polynomial f(x)f(x) defined below? f(x)=−3x^4−10x^3
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

9x^8

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) is a binomial.  Multiplying a binomial by itself results in a trinomial.  In this problem we need ONLY to specify what the leading coefficient (coefficient of this trinomial product) is.

Here this is obtained by squaring the coefficient −3x^4.  We get"

(-3)^2*(x^4)^2  =  9x^8

Janelle and her best friend Carmen go shopping. The function p(t) = 5x4 − 3x3 + 2x2 + 24 represents how much money each girl spe
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

$176

Step-by-step explanation:

The functionp(x) = 5x^4-3x^3 + 2x^2 + 24 represents how much money each girl spent based on the number of hours they were shopping.

Janelle goes shopping for 2 hours, then x=2 and

p(x)=5\cdot 2^4-3\cdot 2^3+2\cdot 2^2+24=5\cdot 16-3\cdot 8+2\cdot 4+24=80-24+8+24=88

Thus, Janelle spent $88.

Carmen goes shopping for 2 hours, then x=2 and

p(x)=5\cdot 2^4-3\cdot 2^3+2\cdot 2^2+24=5\cdot 16-3\cdot 8+2\cdot 4+24=80-24+8+24=88

Thus, Carmen spent $88 too.

Together they spent

$88+$88=$176

Delegates from 10 countries, including Russia,
ankoles [38]

Answer: 564480 arrangements

Step-by-step explanation:

First, let's consider the French and English delegates as one party because they will sit next to each other.

So total delegates if French and English are always together comes out to be 9 instead of 10.

Now, they are to sit in a row and can have different seats so the total number of ways they can sit is= 2 x 9!= 725760 ways.

Now, when Russian and U.S delegates are not to sit next to each other so consider similarly like before consider them as one unit like French and English. Now they can also change their seats so number of way for them= 2 x 2 x 8!= 161280 ways

To find out when French and English delegates are together and Russain and U.S delegates are not together we subtract the way from the original value.

725760-161280= 564480 way.
