Answer:

The percentage of copies of album 1 sold as CDs is

53 %. (*note answer would be 53.5% but if you read it says to round your answer to nearest WHOLE number, that would make it 53%)

Of the total digital downloads sold,

49 % were of album 2.

The record label sold a higher percentage of album

1  as digital downloads than album 2

.

Album 1 sold 540 CD copies and was downloaded 470 times. So, in total, it was sold

540+470=1010

times. So, the percentage of CDs is

\dfrac{540}{1010}\cdot 100=53.5\%

Similarly, the total of digital downloads is

470+452=922

Which means that the percentage represented by album 2 is

\dfrac{452}{922}\cdot 100=49\%

Now, we already saw that album 1 sold 53.5\% of copied as CD, implying that the remaining 46.5\% are downloads. A similar computation for album 2 gives the following percentage of downloads:

\dfrac{452}{452+571}\cdot 100 = 44.18\%

So, album 1 had the highest percentage of download selling.

Write the equation of the parabola in vertex form.<br><br><br>Vertex: (−4,6); Point: (−2,−2)
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

y = - 2(x + 4)² + 6

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a parabola in vertex form is

y = a(x - h)² + k

where (h, k) are the coordinates of the vertex and a is a multiplier

Here (h, k ) = (- 4, 6 ) , thus

y = a(x - (- 4) )² + 6 , that is

y = a(x + 4)² + 6

To find a substitute (- 2, - 2) into the equation

- 2 = a(- 2 + 4)² + 6 ( subtract 6 from both sides )

- 8 = a(2)² = 4a ( divide both sides by 4 )

- 2 = a , thus

y = - 2(x + 4)² + 6 ← equation in vertex form
