Answer:

Hey

I have no idea when YOUR assignment is due.

Newtons 1rst law:

An object that has constant motion will remain at that speed unless acted on by an external force.

Newtons 2nd law:

F=ma (force=mass*acceleration)

Newtons 3rd law:

when a force is applied to an object, there will be an opposite but equal reaction.

Acceleration:

How much your speed increases/decreases per unit of time.

I wrote all that^

A heat engine performs (245 + A) J of work in each cycle while also delivering (142 + B) J of heat to the cold reservoir. Find t
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

The value is \eta  =  54.4 \%

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The work input is  W = ( 245 + A ) \  J

     The heat delivered is Q =  (142 + B) \  J

      The value of A is  A =  14

        The value of B  is  B  = 72

Generally the efficiency of the heat engine is mathematically represented as

          \eta  =  \frac{W}{Q_t}

Here  Q_t is the total out energy produce by the heat engine and this is mathematically represented as

           Q_t= Q + W

=>         Q_t=  245 + A + 142 + B

=>         Q_t=  390 + A+B

So

               \eta  =  \frac{245 + A }{390 + A+ B}

=>          \eta  =  0.544

=>          \eta  =  0.544 *100

=>          \eta  =  54.4 \%

A swimmer wants to swim straight across a river with current flowing at a speed of v1 = 0.32 km/h. If the swimmer swims in still
yawa3891 [41]

For the swimmer to go straight the sin component of his velocity should  cancel the river velocity.

So, we have v_{1} = v_2sinθ

This angle θ is the angle  shall the swimmer point upstream from the shore.

0.32 = 0.85 sin[/tex]θ

θ = 22.12^0

The velocity of swimmer across the river is given by cos componet of his velocity

 v = 0.85 cosθ = 0.85 cos 22 = 0.79 m/s
