Ok so the equation for momentum is:
v=p/m

So you would do:
7800/1200=6.5

So the answer is:
6.5 m/s

Hope this helps :)

Select the correct statement to describe when a sample of liquid water vaporizes into water vapor
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

This procces is called evaporation.

Explanation:

When you have liquid water that is transformed into steam, a phase change is called evaporation. The temperature for the evaporation of water depends on the pressure, for example for water at atmospheric pressure the temperature of evaporation is equal to 100°C. as the pressure increases are achieved evaporation temperatures higher. When that happens, the phase change temperature of the water is not increasing, as the process that takes place is the transfer of latent heat and applies only to changes of phase, that is to say at atmospheric pressure when it has 100% of the steam this will be at 101°C.

An object moving at 15 m/s slows uniformly at a rate of 2.0 m/s each second for 5.0 s. What is its final speed?
NeX [460]
Hey there!

We are given ,

Acceleration, a = -2m/s^2

Initial velocity , u = 15m/s

Time , t = 5 seconds

We know that ,
V=u+at

Now , final speed ,

V = 15+(-2)(5)

V = 15-10

V = 5 m/s -> final speed

Hope this helps you dear :)

Calculate the net force and the acceleration on the block
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

Net Force = 10N

Acceleration = 2m/s^2

Explanation:

calculate the net force and the acceleration on the block

Net force on the block F = mass * acceleration

Net force acting in the positive direction = 4N + 6N = 10N

Mass = 5kg

According to newton's second law;

a = F/m

a = 10N/5

a = 2m/s^2

hence the acceleration on the block is 2m/s^2

Is blacklight the same as ultraviolet?
Misha Larkins [42]
Blacklight is made of a type of ultraviolet light called UV-A, but blacklight is not the same as ultraviolet light. Blacklight lamps only emit in the lower energy range of ultraviolet light.
