Player A needs the least amount of energy. The ball is light weight and she is closest to the goal so the momentum need to kick the ball will be the least and the distance is has to travel is the shortest. But player C needs the most amount of energy. The ball is heavy so it will take the most momentum to move the ball and over such a long distance. Hope this help idrk.

It is 2058 and you are taking your grandchildren to Mars. At an elevation of 34.7 km above the surface of Mars, your spacecraft
Paul [167]

Answer: 1.23\ m/s^2

Explanation:

Given

At an elevation of y=34.7\ km, spacecraft is dropping vertically at a speed of u=293\ m/s

Final velocity of the spacecraft is v=0

using equation of motion i.e. v^2-u^2=2as

Insert the values

\Rightarrow 0-(293)^2=2\times a\times (34.7\times 10^3)\\\\\Rightarrow a=-\dfrac{293^2}{2\times 34.7\times 10^3}\\\\\Rightarrow a=-1.23\ m/s^2

Therefore, magnitude of acceleration is 1.23\ m/s^2.

List atleast to conditions that could cause the pressure inside a sealed container of gas to increase
hjlf
There are exactly three ways that could happen:

1).  The container was heated, and the gas inside it got warmer.

2).  Some part inside the container moved somehow, and made
      the inside volume smaller, so the gas got scrunched into a
      smaller space.

3).  Somebody pumped some more gas into the container, so
      a greater amount of gas had to live in the same space.

The distance in meters she would have moved before she begins to slow down is 11.25 m

<h3>LINEAR MOTION</h3>

A straight line movement is known as linear motion

Given that Ann is driving down a street at 15 m/s. Suddenly a child runs into the street. It takes Ann 0.75 seconds to react and apply the brakes.

To know how many meters will she have moved before she begins to slow down, we need to first list all the given parameters.

  • speed = 15 m/s
  • time t = 0.75 s

From definition of speed,

speed = distance / time

Make distance the subject of the formula

distance = speed x time

distance = 15 x 0.75

distance = 11.25m

Therefore, the distance in meters she would have moved before she begins to slow down is 11.25 m

Most comets have short periods and orbit close to the ecliptic plane. (T/F)
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Most comets are located outside the solar system, in part of the cloud that originated from dust and gas that has remained virtually untouchable for billions of years. The orbit of these comets can reach the order of a light year. Thus, they are called long-period comets.
