Answer:

234.64 m

Explanation:

Using the formula for calculating range;

Range R = u√2H/g

u is the speed = 13m/s

H is the maximum height

g is the acceleration due to gravity = 9,8m/s²

R = 90m

Get the maximum height;

90 = 13√2H/9.8

90/13 = √2H/9.8

6.923 = √2H/9.8

square both sides

6.923² = 2H/9.8

469.698 = 2H

H = 469.698/2

H = 234.64

Hence the top level was 234.64 m high.

HELP PLEASE THIS IS DUE RIGHT NOW. What is the difference between constant acceleration and instantaneous acceleration?
ladessa [460]
Constant acceleration is when the velocity changes the same amount in every equal time period. For example : 9.8 m/s^2

Instantaneous acceleration is the rate at which velocity changes at a specific instant in time. For example: at one point it might be 8m/s^2 and at another point 13m/s^2

an object of mass 8 kg is whriled round in a vertical circle of radius 2m with a constant speed of 6m/s .Then the maximum and mi
algol13

Answer:

Maximum Tension=224N

Minimum tension= 64N

Explanation:

Given

mass =8 kg

constant speed = 6m/s .

g=10m/s^2

Maximum Tension= [(mv^2/ r) + (mg)]

Minimum tension= [(mv^2/ r) - (mg)]

Then substitute the values,

Maximum Tension= [8 × 6^2)/2 +(8×9.8)] = 224N

Minimum tension= [8 × 6^2)/2 -(8×9.8)]

=64N

Hence, Minimum tension and maximum Tension are =64N and 2224N respectively

A 7.5 cm object is 14 cm from a concave lens, which has a focal length of –7 cm. Its image is 5 cm in front of the lens. What is
Rama09 [41]
Given conditions:
height of object = 7.5cmdistance of object from mirror  = 14 cmfocus length = -7 cmimage distance =  ?
Using mirror formula:
1/(focus length) = 1/(object distance) + 1/(image distance)
or, -1/7 = 1/14 + 1/(image distance)
or, image distance = -4.66cm (the image formed is a virtual image)

Also, magnification of image is:
image height /height of object = - image distance /object distance
or, image height = - image distance / object distance * height of object
or, image height = -(-4.66) / 14 * 7.5 = 2.49 = 3(nearest whole number)
