William James was an American philosopher and psychologist and was considered to be one of the leading thinkers of the nineteenth century. His book "The Principle of Psychology" earned him worldwide recognition.
In the last chapter of this book, he stated that time is nothing but a sensation. He argued that time as a duration is sensed and only influenced on how we view change.
