Answer:

147.6 mL .

Explanation:

sodium carbonate , Na₂CO₃

Molecular weight = 106

3.55 gm of sodium carbonate = 3.55 / 106

= .0335 moles

Let the volume of litre required = V

V litre of .227 M solution will contain

V x .227 moles of sodium carbonate . So

V x .227 = .0335

V = .1476 L

= 147.6 mL .

2) Na --------Na+ + e-
3) Cl2 + 2e- ------------ Cl-
4) 2Cl- ---------Cl2 + 2e-

reduction half-reaction general formula is

How do water molecules move away from their H-O-H configuration to become new molecules?
maksim [4K]

Answer:

A water molecule is consists of two hydrogen atom, each bound to the central oxygen atom through a covalent chemical bond.

Water molecules can form new molecules by moving away from their H-O-H configuration due to thermal motions and rotations. Thermal motions and rotations break the individual hydrogen bonds and change the H-O-H configuration influenced by the temperature and pressure.
