Explanation:

The number of moles is a more expressive unit in chemical calculations.

A mole is a convenient unit of quantity of particles. It is likened to a quantity of things like in our everyday life.

A mole is like a dozen, gross or score.

A dozen is 12 units of substance.

A gross is 144 units and a score is 24.

 • A mole also is 6.02 x 10²³particles .

A mole is the amount of of a substance mass or volume that contains Avogadro's number of particles i.e 6.02 x 10²³

 • The particles are protons, neutrons, electrons, atoms, molecules e.t.c
 • These are more specific to chemistry.

The mole is very essential to quantitative chemistry.

Which is a balanced chemical equation?
Degger [83]

Answer:

B. C7H16 + 11O2 → 7CO2 + 8H2O

Explanation:

 • In a balanced chemical equation, the number of atoms of each element is equal on both sides of the equation.
 • In this case, the balanced chemical equation is;

 C7H16 + 11O2 → 7CO2 + 8H2O

Because, it has 7 carbon atoms, 16 hydrogen atoms and 22 oxygen atoms on each side of the equation.

 • When an equation is balanced it obeys the law of conservation of mass such that the mass of reactants will be equal to the mass of products.
