Why is it not posible to see the other waves on the electromagnetic spectrum???
Montano1993 [528]
It is not possible to see the other waves on the electromagnetic spectrum because only other species can see the other parts of the spectrum because they have different components in their eyes than we do, therefore, only allowing us to see a
portion of the spectrum, which is visible light.

A cello string 0.75 m long has a 220 hz fundamental frequency. find the wave speed along the vibrating string. answer in units o
maxonik [38]
For fundamental frequency of a string to occur, the length of the string has to be half the wavelength. That is,

1/2y = L, where L = length of the string, y = wavelength.

Therefore,
y = 2L = 2*0.75 =1.5 m

Additionally,
y = v/f Where v = wave speed, and f = ferquncy

Then,
v = y*f = 1.5*220 = 330 m/s

A shell is fired from the ground with an initial speed of 1.60 × 103 m/s (approximately five times the speed of sound) at an ini
Volgvan

Answer:

The horizontal range will be 2.55\times 10^5m

Explanation:

We have given initial speed of the shell u = 1.6\times 10^3m/sec

Angle of projection = 51°

Acceleration due to gravity g=9.8m/sec^2

We have to find maximum range

Horizontal range in projectile motion is given by

R=\frac{u^2sin2\Theta }{g}=\frac{(1.60\times 10^3)^2sin(2\times 51^{\circ})}{9.81}=2.55\times 10^5m

So the horizontal range will be 2.55\times 10^5m

Students are experimenting with circuits in their physics class and they build the two working circuits pictured below. The batt
bija089 [108]

The complete observation about adding bulb 3 is the brightness of the bulbs has to do with power which considers both the voltage and the current: less voltage x less current = dimmer bulbs.  In circuit A, the voltage is divided across the resistors and the current decreases as resistance increases.  In circuit B, the voltage is the same in each parallel section of the circuit and the current through that section of the circuit only depends on the resistor in that section.

<h3>What is power of the circuit?</h3>

The power of the bulb or any resistor is equal to the product of voltage and  current flowing through it.

P = VI

Circuit A has bulbs in series while the circuit B has bulbs in parallel.

When bulb 3 added to circuit A,  the brightness of all the bulbs dimmed but when bulb 3 (R3) added to circuit B, nothing changed in the brightness of the bulb.

The brightness is depended on the power of the circuit. When both the voltage and current are less, the bulb will be dimmed. In circuit A, series resistors divide the voltage across them. In circuit B, voltage is equal for all the resistors.

Thus, the last option is correct.

1. You have a cat who has a mass of 10 kg and is
disa [49]

Answer:

1) F = 100N

2) a = 2 m/s²

3) m = 25 kg

Explanation:

1) F = ma ( F = ?, m = 10 kg, a = 10 m/s² )

  F = 10×10

  F = 100 N

2) F = ma ( F = 20N, m = 10 kg, a = ? )

   20 = 10×a

   10a = 20

   a = 20/10

   a = 2 m/s²

3)F = ma ( F = 100N, m = ?, a = 4 m/s² )

  100 = m×4

  4m = 100

  m = 100/4

  m = 25 kg

Hope that helps! Good luck!
