What is direct current? In which direction does current go according to the electron flow convention?
KatRina [158]

Answer:

Answer to the question is:

Explanation:

Direct Current:

It is that current where electrons circulate in the same amount and sense in time, that is, flowing in the same direction. Its polarity is invariable and causes a current of relatively constant amplitude to flow through a load. This type of current is known as direct current (DC), and is generated by a battery.

the current of electrons will leave the negative terminal of the battery, (because they repel each other and also repel free electrons in the copper conductor), and go to the positive terminal where there is a lack of electrons, passing through the circuit to which it is connected. In this way the electric current is produced.

Can something change states of matter how do you know
belka [17]
Yes, it can change states of matter from heat. Like ice, ice changes it’s state of matter from the temperature it is in, which causes it to turn into a liquid.(another form of matter) Again with heat, if water is boiled to a certain temperature it converts to a gas. Now with cold. If water is at such a coke temperature it will turn to ice, a form of matter. Now when a gas is cooled down, the atoms comprising the gas have less energy to move around.

An old millstone, used for grinding grain in a gristmill, is a solid cylindrical wheel that can rotate about its central axle wi
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

The answer is I=70,513kgm^2

Explanation:

Here we will use the rotational mechanics equation T=Ia, where T is the Torque, I is the Moment of Inertia and a is the angular acceleration.

When we speak about Torque it´s basically a Tangencial Force applied over a cylindrical or circular edge. It causes a rotation. In this case, we will have that T=Ft*r, where Ft is the Tangencial Forge and r is the radius

Now we will find the Moment of Inertia this way:

Ft*r=I*a -> (Ft*r)/(a) = I

Replacing we get that I is:

I=(200N*0,33m)/(0,936rad/s^2)

Then I=70,513kgm^2

In case you need to find extra information, keep in mind the Moment of Inertia for a solid cylindrical wheel is:

I=(1/2)*(m*r^2)
