Hello!
By law of Dalton’s partial pressure the sum of the partial pressures is the total of all the pressures. So if the total is 740mm Hg then 740=400+200+x so solving for x the unknown pressure we get 740-600=140mm Hg.

Hope this helps! Any questions please just ask! Thank you so much!

How many Mg atoms are presented in 3.00 moles of MgCl2
ella [17]

Answer:

1.81 x 10²⁴ atoms

Explanation:

To find the number of atoms in the given number of moles, we need to understand that every substance contains the Avogadro's number of particles.

More appropriately, a mole of any substance will contain the Avogadro's number of particles which is 6.02 x 10²³ atoms

So;

           If 1 mole of a substance  = 6.02 x 10²³ atoms;

               3 mole of MgCl₂ will contain 3 x 6.02 x 10²³ = 1.81 x 10²⁴ atoms

Ow many coulombs of charge are needed to produce 35.2 mol of solid zinc?
Natasha2012 [34]
Answer: Zn(2+) + 2e(-) -------> Zn 1 mole of Zn is deposited by 2F of electricity ... so 48.9 mole of Zn will be deposited by 48.9 X 2F = 97.8 F of electricity... as 1F = 96500 C so 97.8 F = 97.8 X 96500 = 9437700 C of electricity...

A superconductor performs best at??
Charra [1.4K]

very cold temperatures

Explanation:

A superconductor performs best at very cold temperatures.

A superconductor is a perfect conductor that is able to allow the passage of electricity and heat without resistance.

  • In superconductors, under certain conditions, resistance ceases to exist.
  • Examples are aluminium, niobium e.t.c
  • A conductor allows heat and current to pass through but with little resistance.
