Computer keyboard failures are due to faulty electrical connects (8%) or mechanical defects (92%). Mechanical defects are relate

d to loose keys (27%) or improper assembly (73%). Electrical connect defects are caused by defective wires (35%), improper connections (13%), or poorly welded wires (52%). Round your answers to four decimal places (e.g. 98.7654).

Solution :

Faulty electrical connects = P(A) = 0.80

Mechanical defects = P(B) = 0.92

Mechanical defects are related to loose keys = P(C/B) = 0.27

Improper assembly = P(D/B) = 0.73

Defective wires  = P(E/A) = 0.35

Improper connections = P(F/A) = 0.13

Poorly welded wires = P(G/A) = 0.52

Now, the probability due to loose keys = 0.27 x 0.92 = 0.2484

Improperly connected = 0.13 x 0.80 = 0.1040

Poorly welded wires = 0.52 x 0.80 = 0.4160

So, the probability that a failure is due to improperly connected or poorly welded wires = 0.1040 + 0.4160

                       = 0.5200

Please Answer!!!!
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

A). F = \frac{9C}{5}+32

B). 374°F

Step-by-step explanation:

A). Formula to convert the temperature from degree centigrade to °F is,

    C = \frac{5}{9}(F-32)

    We have to solve the formula to get the value of F,

    9 × C = 9\times \frac{5}{9}(F-32)

    9C = 5(F - 32)

    \frac{9C}{5}=\frac{5(F-32)}{5}

    \frac{9C}{5}=(F-32)

    F = \frac{9C}{5}+32

B). In this part we have to find the value of 190° C in °F.

    From the formula given in part (A),

    F = \frac{9\times 190}{5}+32

       = 374°

    Therefore, 190°C = 374°F

3x +15 = 2x + 10 + x + 5
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:

The equation is true.

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify. Combine like terms:

3x + 15 = (2x + x) + (10 + 5)

3x + 15 = (3x) + 15

Isolate the variable, x. Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the other. Subtract 3x and 15 from both sides:

3x (-3x) + 15 (-15) = 3x (-3x) + 15 (-15)

3x - 3x = 15 - 15

0 = 0

~ True. The two expressions are equal to each other.

A card game goes like this: you draw a card from a 52-card deck. if it is a face card (jack, queen or king), you win $4; otherwi
GREYUIT [131]
Your expected value is -$0.62.

We multiply the probability of winning by the amount won.  There are 12 face cards out of 52 cards, and the amount won is 4:

12/52(4)

We also multiply the probability of losing by the amount lost.  There are 40 cards that are not face cards out of 52, and the amount lost is 2:

40(52)(-2)

Adding these, we have:

(12/52)(4)-(40/52)(2) = -0.62.
