Answer:

P(win) = 0.4722

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

n = 36 --- slots

Even = 17 i.e. even numbers between 1 and 34 (inclusive)

Required

P(win)

The probabiity of winning is the number of even numbers divided by the total slot;

i.e.

P(win) = \frac{Even}{n}

So, we have:

P(win) = \frac{17}{36}

P(win) = 0.4722

"Use the chart above to determine the premium for 10 year term insurance. $12,000 policy for a 35-year-old female. Premium = ___
JulsSmile [24]
Option C) 63.48

The footnotes indicate that for female you have to use the rate for a male three years younger.

Then you have to use the rate for 32-year-old males, which is 5.29.

That rate is for evary $1,000 face value, the you have to calculate the premium in this way:

Premium = [5.29/1000]*$12.000 = 63.48

The principal P is borrowed & the loans future value, A, at time is given. Determine the loans simple interest rate, r, to t
trapecia [35]

I don't quite understand the meaning of "A" when it comes to this problem. I'm assuming that "A" is the amount of interest paid within 3 years? But that's how I solved it. Because the equation is  (I) over PT=

I = interest paid monthly/annually or whatever the determined number is.

P = principle (the money that was started out)

T = the time of the accruement

R= the interest rate.

That's why I'm assuming that A is going to equal I in this problem.

So it will be

188.80 over (/) 160 x 3= R

We will multiply 160 x 3 = 480

Then, we'll divide 188.80 by 480

188.80 ÷ 480 = 0.393.

We'll multiply that number by 100.

0.393 x 100 = 39.3%.

That's a HUGE interest rate, so that's why I'm not sure if A if the correct answer.

Members of a baseball team raised $1611.75 to go to a tournament. They rented a bus
artcher [175]

Answer:

(1611.75 - 791.50) ÷ 48.25 = x

(820.25) ÷ 48.25 = x

17 = x

1611.75 - 791.50 = 820.25

830.25 ÷ 48.25 = 17

so there are 17 players the team can bring
