Answer:

x = 42 m

y = -28 m

vx = 17.5 m/s

vy = -23.5 m/s

Explanation:

if the throw point is the origin and UP and AWAY are the positive directions.

s = s₀ + v₀t + ½at²

v = u + at

horizontal position = 0 + 17.5 m/s(2.4 s) + ½(0)(2.4)² = 42 m

vertical position = 0 + 0(2.4) + ½(-9.8 m/s²)(2.4 s)² = -28 m

horizontal velocity  = 17.5 + 0(2.4) = 17.5 m/s

vertical velocity = 0 + (-9.8)(2.4) = -23.5 m/s

I WILL CHOOSE YOU AS THE BRAINIEST PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

It's like the Earth pulling on you and keeping you on the ground. That pull is gravity at work. Every object in the universe that has mass exerts a gravitational pull, or force, on every other mass. The size of the pull depends on the masses of the objects.

A ski hill is angled 20° above the horizontal. If a skier starts from rest at the top of the hill, how fast will she be travelin
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

20 m/s

Explanation:

First, we calculate for the acceleration down the incline using a = gsin\theta.

a = (9.80)sin(20°)

a = 3.35

Then, we use one of the kinematics equations, {v_{f}}^{2} = {v_{i}}^{2} + 2 a\Delta s.

v_{i} = 0 m/s

a = 3.35

\Delta s = 62 m

v_{f} = \sqrt{2(3.35)(62)}

v_{f} =20.381 = 20 m/s

A charge of 1.0 × 10-6 μC is located inside a sphere, 1.25 cm from its center. What is the electric flux through the sphere due
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

\Phi_E=0.11\frac{N\cdot m^2}{C}

Explanation:

According to Gauss's Law, the electric flux of a charged sphere is the electric field multiplied by the area of the spherical surface:

\Phi_E=EA\\\Phi_E=E(4\pi R^2)\\\Phi_E=\frac{q}{4\pi \epsilon_0 R^2}(4\pi R^2)\\\Phi_E=\frac{q}{\epsilon_0}

This is identical to the electric flux of a point charge located in the center of the sphere.

\Phi_E=\frac{1*10^{-12}C}{8.85*10^{-12} \frac{C^2}{N\cdot m^2}}\\\Phi_E=0.11\frac{N\cdot m^2}{C}
