Infuse 1000 mL of NS. The infusion set delivers 15 gtt/mL. Give 300 mL bolus over 20 minutes and then infuse at the hourly rate
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

rate of infusion is 900 mL/hr

Explanation:

given data

Infuse I1 = 1000 mL

delivers = 15 gtt/mL

Infuse I2 = 300 mL

time t= 20 min

rate = 60 mL/hr

to find out

rate of infusion

solution

we know here we give 300 mL infuse in 20 min

so here for 20 min

rate of infusion is express as

rate of infusion = I2 / t

rate of infusion = 300 / 20

rate of infusion = 15 mL / min

rate of infusion = 15 × 60 = 900

so rate of infusion is 900 mL/hr

If earth rotated on an axis that was not tilted, how would this affect the seasons?
VARVARA [1.3K]
If earth was not tilted on a axis, we wouldn't have any seasons. we wouldn't have seasons because the axis tilts us towards or away from the sun, and if you're tilted torwards the sun the sun you would have summer. if you're tilted away from the sun, you have winter. if there was no axis, the temperature would be the same all around the earth, so therefore we would not have seasons.

hopefully this helps

Answer:

A) Increase the voltage by adding a bigger battery

Explanation:

According to Ohm's law

V = IR

where V is voltage, I is current and R is the resistance. If we write the equation for resistance we would get

R= V / I

Here we can see that Voltage is directly proportional to Resistance so in order to keep the balance if we increase the resistance then we must increase the voltage to keep the current constant.

A Ferris wheel is a vertical, circular amusement ride with radius 9.5 m. Riders sit on seats that swivel to remain horizontal. T
Kruka [31]

Answer:

928.34 N

Explanation:

Radius=r=9.5 m

Time period of revolution=T=7.6 s

Mass of rider=m=57 kg

We have to find the rate of change of the rider's momentum at the bottom of the ride

According to Newton's second law of motion

F_{net}=ma_c

N-mg=mr\omega^2

N=mg+mr(\frac{2\pi}{T})^2

Where \pi=3.14,g=9.8 m/s^2

Using the formula

N=57\times 9.8+57\times 9.5(\frac{2\times 3.14}{7.6})^2

N=928.34 N

Hence, the rate of change of the rider's momentum=928.34 N
