<h3>What is Potential and Kinetic energy?</h3>

Potential energy is the energy that is stored in any item or system as a result of its location or component arrangement. The environment outside of the object or system, such as air or height, has no impact on it. In contrast, kinetic energy refers to the energy of moving particles inside a system or an item.

mass of rod, mab = 2.4kg

mass of rod, mbc = 4kg

conservation of energy

T_{1}  + V_{1} = T_{2}  + V_{2}

h_{ab}  = h_{bc}  = 0.18m

potential energy at position 1,

V1 = m_{ab} gh_{ab}  + m_{bc} gh_{bc}

V1 = 2.5 * 9.81 * 0.18 + 4 * 9.81 * 0.18

V1 = 11.30112

kinetic energy T1 at position 1 is zero

potential energy at position 2 is zero

K.E at position 2,

T_{2} = \frac{1}{2} l_{ab} w^{2}_{ab} +  \frac{1}{2} m_{bc} v^{2}_{G} +  \frac{1}{2} lw^{2}_{bc}

l_{ab} =\frac{m_{ab} l^{2}_{ab}  }{3}

= 1/3 *4 * (0.36)²

=0.10368kg m²

l =\frac{m_{bc} l^{2}_{bc}  }{12}

= 1/12 *4 * (0.6)²

=0.12kg m²

on putting the values in above equation we get,

T₂ = 1.0667vb²

0 + 11.30112 = 1.0667vb² + 0

vb = 3.2549 m/s

A wave emitted from a source has a frequency of 10 Hz and wavelength 2.5 m. How much time will it take to reach a person located
const2013 [10]

Answer:

time taken by the wave to reach the person is 0.2 s

Explanation:

As we know that the speed of the wave is given as

v = \lambda f

here we know that the wavelength of the wave is

\lambda = 2.5 m

f = 10 Hz

now speed of the wave is given as

v = 10(2.5)

v = 25 m/s

Now time taken by the wave to reach 5 m distance is

t = \frac{L}{v}

t = \frac{5}{25}

t = 0.2 s

Considering how the parts of a system work together and affect one another, other systems, and the environment is called _______
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

Hi

before I answer a question I think very deeply and try my best, hope it helps...

As you know there are many different types of systems. For example, The solar system, galaxies, quantum systems, atoms, molecules, orchestras, nervous system, etc, things you may not have even considered a system. To get to the basis of a system we must first understand what a system is then we will show some examples. A system is a group of Parts (parts could mean anything even dark energy and dark matter) that work together to accomplish something. For example, your body has many many trillions of cells that all try to accomplish the functions of humans which include thinking, moving, breathing, circulation, etc. Cells in turn are a system that have counterparts called organelles that accomplish harvesting energy, making new proteins, getting rid of waste, and so on. These are some systems which we highly dependent upon.

Well i hope it helped

A car with a mass of 710 kg is traveling at 37 km/hr. It accelerates to a speed of 120 km/hr in 12.6 seconds. What is the net fo
guajiro [1.7K]

Answer: The net force acting on the car 1,299.3 N.

Explanation:

Mass of the car = 710 kg

Initial velocity of the car of the ,u= 37 km/h= 10.27 m/s (1km\h=\frac{5}{18} m/s)

Final velocity of the car,v = 120 km/h = 33.33 m/s

time taken b y car = 12.6 sec

v-u=at

33.33m/s-10.27m/s=23.06 m/s=a(12.6 sec)

a = 1.83 m/s^2

Force=mass\times acceleration

Force=710 kg\times 1.83 m/s^2

Force=1,299.3 N

The net force acting on the car 1,299.3 N.
