Answer:  Thus mass of products is 177.2 g

Explanation:

According to the law of conservation of mass, mass can neither be created nor be destroyed. Thus the mass of products has to be equal to the mass of reactants. The number of atoms of each element has to be same on reactant and product side. Thus chemical equations are balanced.

The balanced chemical reaction is:

AgNO_3+NaCl\rightarrow NaNO_3+AgCl

mass of silver nitrate (AgNO_3) = 124.31 g

mass of sodium chloride (NaCl) = 52.89 g

mass of reactants = mass of silver nitrate (AgNO_3) +

mass of sodium chloride  (NaCl) = 124.31 g + 52.89 g = 177.2 g

Thus mass of products = mass of reactants = 177.2 g

sound travels slower in colder air than it does in warmer air why does the speed of sound depend on air temperature
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

The speed of sound in the air mainly depends on temperature. At high altitudes, where it is much colder, sound travels slower. The higher the temperature, the faster the air molecules are moving to begin with, and the quicker they bump into each other as a sound wave passes through.

One mole of carbon (12.0 g) in the form of crystalline graphite is burned at 25◦C and 1.000 atm pressure to form CO2(g). All of
iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

T₂ = 43.46 °C

Explanation:

Given that:

The heat of the formation of carbon dioxide = - 393.5 kJ/mol (Negative sign suggests heat loss)

It means that energy released when 1 mole of carbon undergoes combustion = 393.5 kJ = 393500 J

Heat gain by water = Heat lost by the reaction

Thus,

m_{water}\times C_{water}\times \Delta T=Q

For water:

Mass of water  = 5100 g

Specific heat of water = 4.18 J/g°C

T₁ = 25 °C

T₂ = ?

Q = 393500 J

So,

5100\times 4.18\times (T_2-25)=393500

T₂ = 43.46 °C

Examples of energy being used around your class room
SpyIntel [72]
In the average classroom. You have AC and DC energy that flows through the wires and powers your computers, phones, projector (if you have one), the light-bulbs in the ceiling or around the room. Their is potential energy when an object is at rest for example your pencil or desk, There is Kinetic energy when objects are moving for example if you walk around or something is rolling around. You yourself is an example of energy.<span />
