Answer:

n=-6, 24

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given:

1-5|n-9|=-74

Subtract 1 from both sides:

-5|n-9|=-75

Divide both sides by -5:

|n-9|=15

By definition of absolute value:

(n-9)=15\text{ or } -(n-9)=15

Solve for each case:

n=24\text{ or } n=-15+9=-6

Therefore, our two solutions are:

n=-6, 24

Answer:

Area of kite = 190.44 m² Option C is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of kite = diagonal 1 * diagonal 2 /2

Here diagonal 1 = 9.2 + 9.2= 18.4 m

and diagonal 2= 6.9 + 13.8 = 20.7 m

Area of kite = 18.4 * 20.7 /2

Area of kite = 190.44 m²

As area of kite is 190.44 m² so, Option C is correct

Describe the Squeeze Theorem as simply as possible.
Tju [1.3M]

Hey there,

The squeeze theorem shows if f(x)\leq g(x)\leq h(x) for all real numbers (-\infty,~\infty) then f(x) = h(x) but g(x) has to equal that as well.

Let's say we have [ \lim_{n \to \infty} (\frac{cos~x}{x}) ]

~Apply the theorem

Note that [ -1 \leq cos~x \leq  1 ] and [ \lim_{n \to \infty} (-\frac{1}{x})\leq \lim_{n \to \infty} (\frac{cos~x}{x})\leq \lim_{n \to \infty} (\frac{1}{x}) ]

~Apply the infinity property to every side but the middle

\lim_{n \to \infty} (-\frac{1}{x}) = 0

\lim_{n \to \infty} (\frac{1}{x}) = 0

So... \lim_{n \to \infty} (\frac{cos~x}{x})=0

Best of Luck!
