If lamp 1 is unscrewed from its holder then lamp 2 will not glow because these two lamps are in series order and if we terminate it then in the whole circuit the current will stop flowing and therefore the connection is interrupted and lamp 2 will not glow

Hope it help

CuSO4 absorbs light strongly at a wavelength of 635 nm. Consider that you measure the initial intensity of light, Io, entering t
astra-53 [7]

Answer:

The right statement is "The percent transmittance of light, %T, will be higher for Sample 1 compared to Sample 2."

Explanation:

The Beer-Lambert Law states that the absorbance is directly proportional to the concentration of the substance.

Absorbance = εLc

ε: molar absorptivity coeficient

L: optical path length

c: molar concentration

Therefore, if ε and L are the same, the higher the concentration, the higher the absorbance and the lower the transmitance.

Since sample 1 has a higher concentration of CuSO₄ than sample 2, sample 1 has a higher absorbance and lower percent transmittance.

Which of the three subatomic particles have a neutral charge? *
Delvig [45]

Answer:

A. Neutron

Explanation:

Neutrons and protons are found in the nucleus of an atom. BUT unlike Protons (Positive charge/ P an P is how I remember it) or Electrons, which have a negative charge, Neutrons have zero charge which means they are neutral particles. (Neutral an Neutron both start with N.)

Good luck.

A state property X has a value 89.6 units. It undergoes the following changes, first increase by
yanalaym [24]

Answer:

B) -4.1 units

Explanation:

According to this question, a state property X has a value 89.6 units. It undergoes the certain changes as follows:

- first increase by 3.6 units

- then increase by another 18.7 units

- then decrease by 12.2 units

- and finally attains a value of 85.5 units

This can be mathematically represented by 89.6 - {3.6 + 18.7 - 12.2 - x) = 85.5

To get x, we say;

89.6 + 3.6 = 93.2

93.2 + 18.7 = 111.9

111.9 - 12.2 = 99.7

99.7 - 85.5 = 14.2units.

The changes that occured is represented as follows:

= (3.6 + 18.7) - (12.2 + 14.2)

= 22.3 - 26.4

= -4.1 units
