Slope is simply rise/run.
or
(vertical shift)/(horizontal shift)
therefore, the x value went from -6 to 2 which means it vertically shifted by 8.
and the y value went from 1 to 5, which means it horizontally shifted by 4.
the slope is 8/4.
or 2.

(-6,1)(2,5)
slope = (5 - 1) / (2 - (-6) = 4/(2 + 6) = 4 / 8 reduces to 1/2 <==

Item 14 Question 1 You have at most $60 to spend on trophies and medals to give as prizes for a contest. A drawing of a trophy a
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

12x+3y\leq 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ----> the numbers of trophies you can buy

y ----> the numbers of medals  you can buy

we know that

The term "at most" means "less than or equal to"

so

The number of trophies multiplied by $12 plus the number of medals multiplied by $3 must be less than or equal to $60

The inequality that represent this situation is

12x+3y\leq 60

What is the perimeter of the polygon to the nearest tenth of a unit?<br> (See attachment)
8_murik_8 [283]
(-2,-2),(3,-3) ....distance = sqrt 26 = 5.099
(3,-3),(4,-6)......distance = sqrt 10 = 3.162
(4,-6),(1,-6)......distance = sqrt 9 = 3
(1,-6),(2,-4).....distance = sqrt 5 = 2.236
(-2,-4),(-2,-2)...distance = sqrt 20 = 4.472

perimeter is all the sides added together....... = 17.969 = 17.9 units

** I used a distance formula calculator to calculate the distances between each point....just to let u know how I did this
