Let's assume

Amy has x peaches

John has y peaches

Amy and John shared 150 peaches

so, we get

x+y=150

now, we can solve for y

y=150-x

we are given

(1/3) of what Amy has equals to (1/2) of what John has

\frac{1}{3} x=\frac{1}{2}y

now, we can plug y

\frac{1}{3} x=\frac{1}{2}(150-x)

we can cross multiply

and we get

2x=3(150-x)

2x=450-3x

5x=450

x=90

now, we can find y

y=150-90

y=60

so,

Amy has 90 peaches

John has 60 peaches..........Answer
