Answer:

I'll solve 27. To give you a hint.

m2 = 1 + 3x

180 = 1 + 3x

-1       -1

179 = 3x

/3       /3

x = 59.6666667 rounded up

x = 59.67

sorry for the delay.

Step-by-step explanation:

25)

29 + 29 = a

180 - a = x

x = ?

26)

180 - 80 = a

(divide a by two)

a /2 = x

x = ?

27) (I noticed someone did this question, but it's not the right answer)

<em>{</em><em>m∠2</em><em> is the measure of angle two, not 2 degrees just in case you get confused.}</em>

180 - 130 = a

a /2 = m<em>∠ </em>2

<em>(once you have found out the measure of angle two, use it to plug in the given equation to find the value of </em><em>x</em><em>.)</em>

m<em>∠ </em>2 = 1 + 3x

28)

180 - 90 = a

a /2 = m<em>∠ </em>2

m<em>∠ </em>2 = 2x + 21

x = ?

29) {<em>Triangle E will be the left triangle with an angle of 68 degrees. Triangle F will be the right triangle with an angle of </em><em>x</em><em> degrees.}</em>

68 + 68 = a

180 - a = b

<em />

<em>{since </em><em>b</em><em> is part of the right angle, 90 degrees, in Triangle E. remember that the red-colored </em><em>box-shaped</em><em> angle is </em><em>right angle</em><em> aka measure angle is </em><em>90</em><em> degrees.}</em>

90 - b = c

{since c is another part of the right angle in Triangle F}

180 - c = d

d /2 = value of x

x = ?

30) again, the same way to solve this like in the previous question.

<em>{Triangle G will be the left triangle with an angle of 68 degrees. Triangle H will be the right triangle with an angle of </em><em>x</em><em> degrees.}</em>

77 + 77 = a

180 - a = b

<em>{since </em><em>b</em><em> is part of the right angle, 90 degrees, in Triangle G.}</em>

90 - b = c

{since c is another part of the right angle in Triangle H}

180 - c = d

d /2 = value of x degrees

x = ?

31) same way, again. do you remember that we were solving for x in the last two questions? We're doing the same thing again, but this time, we're solving for m<em>∠ </em>2 {measure of angle two in Triangle K} in order to use the given equation {m<em>∠ </em>2 = 5x + 14} to find the value of x}

{<em>Triangle J will be the left triangle with an angle of 61 degrees. Triangle K will be the right triangle with </em><em>m∠2</em><em>, the measure of angle two }</em>

61 + 61 = a

180 - a = b

<em />

<em>{since b is part of an angle 90 degrees in Triangle J, let's find the other part of the right angle in Triangle K}</em>

90 - b = c

180 - c = d

d /2 = m<em>∠ </em>2

<em />

(now use that m<em>∠ </em>2 and plug it in the equation to find the value of x)

m<2 = 5x + 14

x = ?

32) <em>Triangle L will be the left triangle with an angle of </em><em>x</em><em> degrees. Triangle M will be the right triangle with an angle of 38 degrees. </em>

<em>{since 38 degrees is already part of the right angle, 90 degrees in Triangle M. We can use it to find the other part of the right angle in Triangle L.}</em>

90 - 38 = a

(notice that a is equal to m<em>∠ </em>2 in Triangle L)

a = m<em>∠ </em>2

m<em>∠ </em>2 = 9x - 2

x = ?

-----------------------------------------------------------

33) "In any triangle, the smallest angle is always across from the shortest side and the largest angle is always across from the longest side."

basically, the longest side of a triangle is opposite to/faces the largest angle. the smallest side of a triangle is opposite to/faces the smallest angle. Always.

Side JL, 21, is the largest side length and is opposite to angle K, which is the largest angle.

Side JK, 15, is the smallest side length and is opposite to angle L, which is the smallest angle.

The angle J is in between angle K and angle L

34)  reminder: the longest side of a triangle is opposite to/faces the largest angle. the smallest side of a triangle is opposite to/faces the smallest angle.

Side TV, 12, is the largest side length and is opposite to angle U.

Side UV, 7, is the smallest side length and is opposite to angle T.

The angle V is in between angle U and angle T

ANSWER:

25) x = 128

26) x = 50

27) m∠2 = 25, x = 8

28) m∠2 = 45, x = 12

29) b = 44, x = 67

30) b = 26, x = 58

31) b = 58, m∠2 = 74, x = 12

32) m∠2 = 52, x = 6

33)angle L, angle J, angle K

34) angle T, angle V, angle U

Answer:

826.8 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

Lenght of video= 234minutes

number of times watched= 212 times

Based on the information given, we can estimate the number of hours spent watching the video

=234*212

=49608 minutes

in hours

=49608/60

=826.8 hours

in days

=826.8/24

You have been assigned to determine whether more people prefer Coke or Pepsi. Assume that roughly half the population prefers Co
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

n=\frac{0.5(1-0.5)}{(\frac{0.03}{1.96})^2}=1067.11

And rounded up we have that n=1068

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we have the following info given:

ME=0.03 the margin of error desired

Conf= 0.95 the level of confidence given

The margin of error for the proportion interval is given by this formula:

ME=z_{\alpha/2}\sqrt{\frac{\hat p (1-\hat p)}{n}}    (a)

the critical value for 95% of confidence is z=1.96

We can use as estimator for the population of interest \hat p=0.5. And on this case we have that ME =\pm 0.03 and we are interested in order to find the value of n, if we solve n from equation (a) we got:

n=\frac{\hat p (1-\hat p)}{(\frac{ME}{z})^2}   (b)

And replacing into equation (b) the values from part a we got:

n=\frac{0.5(1-0.5)}{(\frac{0.03}{1.96})^2}=1067.11

And rounded up we have that n=1068

I am struggling hard out with linear algebra in math level one
Elena L [17]
I would recommend "Introduction to Linear Algebra," by Gilbert Strang. It is a compact but very helpful textbook reference written by a well-known MIT professor. There is a corresponding online MIT course that is free, so that's a bonus. I am currently using it to study linear algebra with no class or previous experience, and I think it does a solid job of explaining things. Each section in the book has a set of questions for you to work through, and answers to selected questions appear in an appendix at the end of the book. Hope this helps!
