0.216g of aluminium compound X  react with an excess of water water to produce gas. this gas burn completely  in O2  to form H2O and 108cm^3of CO2 only . the volume of CO2 was measured at room temperature and pressure

0.108 / n  =  24 / 1
n = 0.0045 mole ( CO2 >>0.0045 mole
0.216 - 0.0045 = 0.2115
so Al =   0.2115 / 27  =>  0.0078 mole
C = 0.0045 * 1000 => 4.5    and Al  = 0.0078 * 1000 = 7.8

An object has a mass of 5 kg. What force is needed to accelerate it at 6 m/s2? (Formula: F=ma) 0.83 N 1.2 N 11 N 30 N
masya89 [10]
Answer: Option (D) 30N

Detailed Solution:
According to Newton's second law:

F = ma --- (A)

Given:
mass = 5kg
acceleration = 6 m/s^2
F = ?

Plug all the value in equation (A)
F = (5)(6)
Ans: F = 30N

What can you infer about aspirin’s ester group?
Reil [10]

Answer:

Option B, aspirin’s ester group provides greater digestibility to aspirin

Explanation:

Aspirin ester group has three parts

  1. carboxylic acid functional group (R-COOH)
  2. ester functional group (R-O-CO-R')
  3. aromatic group (benzene ring)

Aspirin is a weak acid and hence it cannot dissolve in water readily. The reaction of Aspirin ester group with water is as follows -

aspirin

(acetylsalicylic acid) + water → salicylic acid + acetic acid

(ethanoic acid)

Aspirin passes through the stomach and remains unchanged until it reaches the intestine where it hydrolyses ester to form the active compound.
