Answer:36x-27w+9

Step-by-step explanation:

A negative times a negative is positive and a negative times a positive is negative so you take -9 and times it by each number. -4x, 3w,-1 Keep it in the same order

1/4(8x -16)+12x= -2(x +4)
Wewaii [24]
1/4 x (8x-16) + 12x = -2 (x+4) factor out 4 from the expression                        1/4 x 4(2x-4)+12x= -2(x + 4) distribute -2 through the parenthesis -2x-8               reduce the numbers with 4 , 1/4 x (2x - 4) + 12x = -2x-8                                       remove parenthesis , collect like terms , 14x-4=2x-8 , combine 14x and 2x which is then 16x=-8+4 , calculate the sum of -8+4=4 , then divide both sides by 16 , it will the give you      -1/4

Which of the following functions best describes this graph?
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer: A. y=x²-9x+20

Step-by-step explanation:

As we can see from the graph there are two x-intercepts: (4,0) (5,0)

The easiest way we can do, is we plug these two values into each of the choices.

A. y=x²-9x+20

(4, 0) YES

(5,0) YES

B. y=x²-8x+18

(4, 0) NO

(5, 0) NO

C. y=x²+9x+20

(4, 0) NO

(5, 0) NO

D. y=x²+x-12

(4, 0) NO

(5, 0) NO

Therefore, the answer should be y=x²-9x+20

Hope this helps!! :)

What is the true solution to the equation below?
Naddik [55]
Yeeee

assuming your equaiton is
2ln(e^{ln(2x)})-ln(e^{ln(10x)})=ln(30)

remember some nice log rules
log_a(b)=c translates to a^c=b
and
a^{log_a(b)}=b
and
xlog_c(b)=log_c(b^x)
and
ln(x)=log_e(x)
and
log(a)-log(b)=log(\frac{a}{b})
and
if log(a)=log(b) then a=b

so

we can simplify a bit of stuff here

the e^{ln(2x)} \space\ and \space\ the \space\ e^{ln(10x)} can be simplified to 2x \space\ and \space\ 10x

so we gots now

2ln(2x)-ln(10x)=ln(30)
ln((2x)^2)-ln(10x)=ln(30)
ln(4x^2)-ln(10x)=ln(30)
ln(\frac{4x^2}{10x})=ln(30)
same base so
\frac{4x^2}{10x}=30
\frac{2x}{5}=30
times both sides by 5
2x=150
divide both sides by 2
x=75
answer is x=75
