5 0

Answer: 120 mph or 2 mpm

Explanation: 60/5= 12

12*10=120mph

Going 10 miles in 5 minutes means you would be able to go 20 miles in 10 minutes. You would have a total of 12 five minute blocks at 10 miles each. 60 miles in 30 minutes or 120 in 60 minutes.

Or 10 miles in 5 minutes would be 2 miles in 1 minute. (10/5=2)

Calculate the pOH of a solution if the concentration of hydroxide ions (OH-) is 1.9 x 10-5M?
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

9.28

Explanation:

pOH refers to a measure of hydroxide ions concentration. pOH tells about the alkalinity of a solution. If pOH is less than 7 then aqueous solutions are alkaline, acidic if pOH is greater than 7 and neutral if pOH is equal to 7.

Concentration of the hydroxide ions = 1.9 x 10-5 M

pH = -log(1.9\times 10^{-5})=4.72

pOH = 14 - pH

=14 - 4.72 = 9.28

Identify the spectator ions in this reaction:
2H+ + 2NO3- + Ca2+ + 2OH- → Ca2+ + 2NO3 + 2H20
inysia [295]

Answer:

Explanation:

2NO3, Ca2+

Spectator ions exists in both sides of the equation. These ions are present in both sides thus cancel out (they do not contribute to reaction...i.e. they only watch or spectate ;) )

Answer;

Cannon-Bard theory

Explanation;

 • The idea that an emotion-arousing stimulus is simultaneously routed to the cortex and to the sympathetic nervous system is central to the Cannon-Band theory.
 • Cannon-Bard theory states that we feel emotions and experience physiological reactions such as sweating, trembling, and muscle tension simultaneously.
 • The theory argues that we experience physiological arousal and emotion at the same time. The theory gives more attention to the role of thought or outward behavior as compared to James-Lange.
