Select the correct equalities for the units shown.
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer

1. 1cm=10mm, 1kg=1000g and 12in=1 ft

2. 50mm=5cm

    48 in =4ft

     36ft=12 yd

     2.5m=250cm

     1000mL= 1 L

Explanation

if 1cm=10mm then 5cm=?

5×10=50mm

if 12 in =1ft then 48in=?

48/12 =4 ft

if 1m=100cm, then 2.5m=?

2.5×100= 250cm

and when know from capacity that 1000mL is equivalent to 1 liter.

What is the significance of "Er" in the diagram?
Drupady [299]

Answer:

The significance of "Er" in the diagram is :

B.) Threshold energy for reaction

Explanation:

Threshold energy : It is total amount of energy required by the reactant molecule to reach the transition state .

Activation energy : It is the excess energy absorbed by the molecules to reach the transition state.

Activation Energy = Threshold Energy - Average Kinetic Energy

This means Activation energy decreases on increasing kinetic energy

On increasing Temperature average kinetic energy of the molecule increases which reduces the activation energy and the reaction occur faster in that case.

Catalyst also reduces the Activation energy.

Er = Threshshold energy for reaction at 30 degree

Ea = Activation Energy

The given figure shows that the threshold energy decreases on increasing the temperature

Only the molecule having energy greater than Er can react to form product
