Answer:

250 J

Explanation:

Apply the formula:

K = 1/2.m.v²

K = 1/2.5.10²

K = 1/2.5.100

K = 5.50

K = 250 Joules

But, remember that if the speed is accelerating or not, if it is, then we need to know the point in time that the question is asking for the Kinetic Energy.

In this case, I think it is just a constant speed.

Which kinds of objects emit visible light in the electromagnetic spectrum?
Triss [41]

Answer : Relatively hot objects

Explanation : We know that, the temperature of the objects is inversely proportional to their wavelengths. The objects emitting radiation in the visible region have short wavelength and hence are relatively hotter.

We know the range of wavelength of the visible spectrum is from 400 nm to 780 nm.

List at least three pieces of evidence to support the idea that sound is a wave.
Schach [20]

Answer:

1. It undergoes reflection. 2. It undergoes refraction. 3. It undergoes diffraction.

Explanation:

1. It undergoes reflection. This is because it bounces off surfaces when incident on them.

2. It undergoes refraction. This is because it changes direction when it passes from one medium to another

3. It undergoes diffraction. This is because it spreads out when it passes through doors and windows similar in dimension to the dimensions of its wavelength

How has the farming industry been affected by the use of fossil fuels?
Mashutka [201]

Fossil fuels have led to an increase in food costs.

Explanation:

Buried organic material over million of years form combustible geologic deposits of organic materials called fossil fuels that can be converted crude oil, natural gas, or coal.

Fossil fuel are currently used as a source of energy in machine and equipment applied in the farming industry. Mechanization has been made possible due to this type of fuel availability thus larger farms have been prepared for cultivation.In addition, other processes such as planting,weeding and harvesting are currently performed by farming machines which are propelled by fossil energy. So in general, fossil fuels in the farming industry has led to increase in amount of crop harvested because more farms are under cultivation and farming process is now mechanized. However, due to use of machines and energy, the production cost has increased, thus to cover for this increased cost, the prices for food products increases, making the cost of food commodities to rise.
