Answer:

0.017 M

Explanation:

The balanced equation for the reaction is given below:

2H₃PO₄ + 3Ba(OH)₂ ⇌ Ba₃(PO₄)₂ + 6H₂O

From the balanced equation above,

The mole ratio of acid, H₃PO₄ (nₐ) = 2

The mole ratio of base, Ba(OH)₂ (n₆) = 3

Finally, we shall determine the concentration of the phosphoric acid, H₃PO₄. This can be obtained as follow:

Volume of acid, H₃PO₄ (Vₐ) = 125 mL

Volume of base, Ba(OH)₂ (V₆) = 63.7 mL

Concentration of base, Ba(OH)₂ (C₆) = 0.050M

Concentration of acid, H₃PO₄ (Cₐ) =?

CₐVₐ / C₆V₆ = nₐ/n₆

Cₐ × 125 / 0.05 × 63.7 = 2/3

Cₐ × 125 / 3.185 = 2/3

Cross multiply

Cₐ × 125 × 3 = 3.185 × 2

Cₐ × 375 = 6.37

Divide both side by 375

Cₐ = 6.37 / 375

Cₐ = 0.017 M

Thus, the concentration of the phosphoric acid, H₃PO₄ is 0.017 M

Which of the reactions below are catalyzed? Check all that apply.
Verdich [7]

Answer:

B. Salt, NaCl, is produced by the process of evaporation of seawater or brine. If the surface area of the water is increased, the same volume of water evaporates faster.

C. The Haber process combines hydrogen and nitrogen to make ammonia. The two gases are passed through a reactor under pressure and at high temperatures. If iron is added to the reactor, the yield of ammonia increases.

Explanation:

Evaporation of water is responsible for the production of sodium chloride also known as table salt. Sodium and chlorine are present in water. When more evaporation of water occurs, sodium and chlorine come close together forming sodium chloride. Haber process is responsible for the production of ammonia which is used as fertilizer. For speed up the process, catalyst is used such as iron in order to complete the reaction in less time. Iron binds hydrogen and nitrogen with each other.

What is the difference between the grassland and savanna biomes?
goblinko [34]

Answer:

C)Grassland biomes contain mostly grasses.

Explanation:

The main differences between a savanna biome and a grassland is that grasslands biomes contain mostly grasses.

Savanna are made up of both grasses and shrubs.

  • Savanna are a mix of grasslands with some scattered trees in the area.
  • Grasslands are open grass fields.
  • They do not contain much trees as such.
  • The savanna and grasslands are renowned for their fauna diversity of beasts.
