I believe you are incorrect. A weathered mountain would appear more jagged.

I do believe with a lot of exposure to weather will make the mountain appear somewhat more jagged compared to a mountain that is less weathered.

Answer:

See the answer below.

Explanation:

The latent heat of fusion is defined as the amount of energy needed to make a phase change from solid to liquid. And it can be calculated by means of the following expression:

Q_{fusion}=m*Dh

where:

Qfusion = Heat Energy [J]

m = mass = 0.65 [kg]

Dh =  latent heat fusion = 330000[J/kg]

Q_{fusion}=0.65*330000\\Q_{fusion}=214500[J]

2)

We know that energy can be calculated from power, where power is defined as the relationship between energy over time.

P=E/t

where:

P = power = 60 [w]

E = energy [J]

t = time = 5 [min] = 300 [s]

E=P*t\\E=50*300\\E=15000[J]

The mass change due to the process is equal to:

m=282-274\\m=8[g]=0.008[kg]

Now using the following equation for the latent heat of Fusion, we can calculate this value:

Q=m*Dh\\Dh =Q/m\\Dh=15000/0.008\\Dh=1875000[J/kg]

Calculate the force of gravity on a spacecraft 12800 km (2 earth radii) above the earth's surface if its mass is 1600 kg. n (tow
Maksim231197 [3]
Since the spacecraft is two earth radii the surface of the earth, it is three earth radii above the center.

Given: Radius of the earth re = 6.38 x 10⁶ m  r = 1.91 x 10⁷ m

           Mass of the spacecraft Ms = 1600 Kg

           Mass of the earth Me = 5.98 x 10²⁴ Kg

           G = 6.67 X 10⁻¹¹ N.m²/Kg²

Formula: F = GMeMs/r²

           F = (6.67 X 10⁻¹¹ N.m²/Kg²)(5.98 x 10²⁴ Kg)(1,600 Kg)/(1.91 x 10⁷ m)²

           F = 6.38 X 10¹⁷ N/3.65 X 10¹⁴ m²

           F = 1,748.5 N

Why do two resistors in parallel together contain less resistance than the same two resistors in series?
stira [4]

Answer : When resistors are connected in parallel, the supply of current is equal to the sum of the currents passing through each of the resistors.

To be specific, the currents in the branches of a parallel circuit add up to the supply current. When resistors are connected in parallel, they have the same potential difference across them.

When resistors are connected in series the total resistance is greater than the individual resistances, hence the currents flow is less.

When resistors are connected in parallel, more current flows from the source than would flow for any of them individual resistors, so the total resistance is lower.

g a mass of 1.3 kg is pushed horizontally against a massless spring with a spring constant of 58 n/m until the spring compresses
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer: 1.102\ J

Explanation:

Given

Mass m=1.3\ kg

Spring constant k=58\ N/m

Compression in the spring x=19.5\ cm\ or\ 0.195\ m

When the mass leaves the spring, the elastic potential energy of spring is being converted into kinetic energy of mass i.e.

\Rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2}kx^2=\dfrac{1}{2}mv^2\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2}\cdot 58\cdot (0.195)^2=\dfrac{1}{2}mv^2\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{1}{2}mv^2=1.102\ J

The kinetic energy of the mass is 1.102 J.

A circuit is constructed with six resistors and two batteries as shown. the battery voltages are v1 = 18 v and v2 = 12 v. the po
VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

V4=9.197v

Explanation:

Given:

V1= 18v ,V2= 12v ,r1=r5=58ohms ,r2=r6=124ohms , r3=47ohms ,r4= 125ohms

V4= I4R4 = V2/(R4 + R5)×R4

V4= 12×125 /(125 + 58)

V4=1500/183 =9.197v
