Isotope is two or more forms of the same element that contain equal numbers of protons but different numbers of neutrons in their nuclei.


Carbon would have 6 protons, 6 Neutrons and 6 electrons.

Sulfur would have 16 protons, 16 neutrons and 16 electrons.
