A star has a spectrum shift exhibiting a red shift. What can you conclude about the distance from earth to that star
Akimi4 [234]
Red shift in the spectrum of a star is always taken to mean that the source of the light is moving away from us.

That's the whole basis for the notion of the expanding universe, since we don't know of any other mechanism that can shift light toward longer wavelengths.

The risk of _______ injury increases with the total amount of physical activity. A. cardiovascular B. musculoskeletal C. cogniti
Lilit [14]
The correct answer here is B - the risk of musculoskeletal injury increases with the total amount of physical activity. Whilst the other forms of injury here do all relate to parts of the body involved in physical activity, it is unlikely that these injuries would occur as a direct result of exercise or strenuous physical activities if the individual in quesiton was healthy to begin with.

Calculate the force experienced by a positive test charge of 8.1 × 10-9 coulombs if the electric field strength is 9.4 × 107 new
luda_lava [24]
We can answer this problem by dimensional analysis. As we can see, the units of the electric field strength is newtons per coulomb. If we multiply a value with units of coulomb we will obtain newtons which is a units of force.

Force = 9.4x10^7 N / C (8.1 x10^-9 C)
Force = 0.7614 N

Did you diagram all the faults and folds correctly? Which fault and/or fold did you find most difficult to diagram?
butalik [34]

A fold is a stack of planar surfaces that are bent during permanent deformation and this happens when the earth's crust is compressed together.

What is a Fault?

This refers to the planar fracture that occurs in a volume of rock that causes significant displacement.

Hence, we can see that there are three types of fold and they are:

 • (1) anticlines,
 • (2) synclines
 • (3) monoclines.

Please note that your question is incomplete so I gave a general overview of the concept to give you a better understanding.
