Answer: 27.2%

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for probability :

\text{Probability}=\dfrac{\text{Favorable outcomes}}{\text{Total outcomes}}

To find :  If a student likes horror movies, what is the probability that student also likes animated movies.

  • The total number student likes horror movies.  (Total outcomes)
  • The number of student likes horror movies and animated movies. (favorable outcomes)

From the given table,

Total outcomes: Number student likes horror movies= 77

Favorable outcomes : Number student likes horror movies and animated movies = 21

Then , the required probability will be :-

\text{P(Animated }|\text{Horror})=\dfrac{21}{77}=0.272727\approx27.2\%

Hence, the probability that student also likes animated movies=27.2%

Answer:

1.1.1) -61

1.1.2) Term 42

Step-by-step explanation:

Tn= dn (difference) + t0 (term 0)

Tn= -4n+ 11

You can now take this general rule to find out the other terms.

Tn= -4(18)+11

Tn= -61

And the term -157

Tn= -4n+11

-157= -4n + 11

-157 - 11= - 4n

-168= -4n

-168/-4= n

42= n

Tickets to a play cost $5 at the door and $4 in advance. The theater club wants to raise at least $400 from the play. Write and
cestrela7 [59]
Your equation should be
$4(40 tickets) + $5(X) = $400
160 +5x = 400
-160            -160
   0     5x =  340
  divide both sides by 5
5x/5 = 340/5
x = 68

so they need to sell 68 tickets at the door.

4(40) + 5(68) = 400
160 + 340  + 400
400 + 400
