Adaptive management can be defined as a strategic technique or approach which typically involves the process of controlling, monitoring, evaluating and improving management resources, policies and procedures (practices) by learning from previous outcomes (experience).
The main purpose of an adaptive management is to help a business firm or company to effectively reduce uncertainty in the day-to-day running of the business.
Hence, the evaluation stage of an adaptive management helps us to understand what objectives are actually met. At this stage, a manager is saddled with the responsibility of identifying which set objective was actually met by the employees and the company as a whole.
