A freight train made a trip to a repair. On the trip there it travelers 25 mph and on the return trip it went 20 mph. How long d
Sophie [7]

Answer:

Time taken by train in onward journey = 12 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Speed of train making a trip to a repair = 25 mph

Speed of train on return trip = 20 mph

Time taken for return trip = 15 hours

To find the time taken on the on wards trip.

Solution:

The distance traveled by the train on the trip and return trip is the same as the y are of same trips in opposite directions.

Distance can be calculated by using the data for the return trip.

Distance= Speed\times Time

Distance= 20\ mph\times 15\ h=300\ miles

Speed of train for on ward trip = 25 mph

Time taken = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

Time taken = \frac{300\ miles}{25\ mph}= 12\ h

Thus, time taken by train in onward journey = 12 hours.

A. Rice costs $1.33 per kilogram. How much will 1.3 kg of rice cost?
Katen [24]
A. If a rice costs $1.33 per kilogram, then 1.3 kg will cost 1.33 * 1.3 = 1.729. We can round it $1.73.

B. If a milk costs $0.71 per liter, with $3.00 you can buy 3 / 0.71 = 4.22 liters (after rounding to the hundredth).

C. In (A) we have cost of standard amount and an information how many of rice we want to buy. We find it by multiplying. In (B) we have cost of standard amount and an information about how much money do we have. We find it by dividing.

joja [24]

Answer:

Media = (16 + 20)/2 = 36/2 = 18

La nota sería 18.

2) entre 16 y 20 tenemos:

16, 17, 18, 19 y 20
