It is a surgical procedure to remove the tonsils which are two small glands at the back of the throat. It cures the infection of tonsils as it causes the tonsils to swell up and give an individual a sore throat, also, other symptoms include fever, trouble swallowing and swollen neck. Apart from the virus of tonsils, it can also be a treatment for breathing problems like heavy snoring and sleep apnea. Tonsillectomy is most common in children than adults, however, people of any age can experience tonsillectomy.
