Answer:

GIVEN

u is 40m/s and v=60m/s

time is 4s

therefore acceleration =60-40/4

=20/4=5m/s^2

b)next 2 sec=70m/s

If the frequency of an electromagnetic wave increases, does the number of waves passing by you increase, decrease, or stay the s
jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

option(d)

Explanation:

The frequency of a wave is the property of the source of wave.

The velocity of all the electromagnetic waves is same as the speed of light. It only changes as the light passes through one medium to another.

The frequency is defined as the number of waves coming out from the source in 1 second.

As the frequency of wave increases, the number of wave coming per second increases.

So, the number of waves passing by increases but the speed remains same.

Option (d)

At an instant when a soccer ball is in contact with the foot of the player kicking it, the horizontal or x component of the ball
Ymorist [56]

Answer:440.03 N

Explanation:

Given

horizontal component of acceleration (a_x)=800 m/s^2

vertical component of acceleration (a_y)=880 m/s^2

mass of ball =0.37 kg

Force in horizontal direction=m\times a_x=0.37\times 800=296 N

Force in vertical direction =m\times a_y=0.37\times 880=325.6 N

Therefore net force is

F=F_x+F_y

|F|=\sqrt{296^2+325.6^2}

|F|=440.03 N

two objects have the same momentum but different masses Which object the more massive or the less massive object travels faster?
uysha [10]
The the object that has the less mass will travel faster because let’s say for example the first object has the mass of M and the second object has the mass of 2M and if the momentum is equal so that means that we could divide M with M and we would get V1=2V2 (being V1 the velocity of the first mass and V2 the velocity of the second one) I hope I helped you out.
