Answer:

The combined gas law combines the three gas laws: Boyle's Law, Charles' Law, and Gay-Lussac's Law. It states that the ratio of the product of pressure and volume and the absolute temperature of a gas is equal to a constant. When Avogadro's law is added to the combined gas law, the ideal gas law results.

The combined gas law combines the three gas laws: Boyle's Law, Charles' Law, and Gay-Lussac's Law. It states that the ratio of the product of pressure and volume and the absolute temperature of a gas is equal to a constant. ... The constant k is a true constant if the number of moles of the gas doesn't change.
Hopefully this helps you!

Given the equilibrium constants for the following two reactions at a 298K:NiO(s) + H2(g) ⇌ Ni(s) + H2O(g) Kc=40NiO(s) +CO(g) ⇌ N
shusha [124]

Answer:

The value  is  K_C =  \frac{40}{600}

Explanation:

From the question

   The equation given is

            NiO(s) + H2(g) ⇌ Ni(s) + H2O(g) Kc=40          (1)

            NiO(s) +CO(g) ⇌ Ni(s) +CO2(g) Kc=600         (2)

Generally the reverse of the second equation as shown below

            Ni(s) +CO2(g) ⇌  NiO(s) + CO(g)                 (3)

The equilibrium constant becomes    K_c  ' =  \frac{1}{600}

 Now  adding  1  and  3 we obtain

      NiO(s) + H2(g)+ Ni(s) +CO2(g) ⇌ Ni(s) + H2O(g)+NiO(s) + CO(g)

               CO2(g) + H2(g) ⇌ CO(g) + H2O(g)

Hence the equilibrium constant for the resulting equation is mathematically evaluated as

           K_C =  K_c' *  K_c

=>       K_C =  \frac{1}{600}  *  40

=>         K_C =  \frac{40}{600}

A particular brand of gasoline has a density of 0.737 g/mL at 25 ∘ C . How many grams of this gasoline would fill a 12.8 gal tan
In-s [12.5K]
To answer this question, you need to know how to convert milliliters into liter then into a gallon. In this question, you are given the gasoline density (0.737g/ml) and the volume (12.8gallon). The information is enough to determine the gas weight. The calculation would be:

Gas weight= density * volume
Gas weight= 0.737g/ml * 12.8 gal * 3.78L/gal * 1000ml/L= 35659.008 grams
