0.161 mols.

Balance the equation first

2Fe + O2 •••••> 2FeO

Find the molar masses of the compound

2(56) + 2(16) •••••> 2(56+16)

112g + 32g •••••> 144g

Fe reacting with O2

112g of Fe reacting with 32g of O2

18g of Fe reacting with x

x= 32×18/112

x= 5.143g

Amount= mass/ molar mass

Amount= 5.143g/32g

Amount= 0.161mls

The Urbana wastewater treatment plant discharge permit limits the discharge of ammonia/ammonium (NH3/NH4 ). To meet this permit,
Otrada [13]

Answer:

Explanation:

The conversion of ammonium ion  into nitrate ion is a two step process which is written below .

2 NH₄⁺ + 3 O₂ =  2NO₂⁻ + 4 H⁺ + 2H₂O

2NO₂⁻ + O₂ = 2 NO₃⁻

This is a two step reaction . These steps are managed by different class of bacteria.

What is the chemical formula for iron (lll) oxide?
kirza4 [7]
Fe (III) is just Fe^+3.

Oxide is O^-2

When you write them into a chemical formula, they all need to have a neutral charge. You will need two Fe^+3 and three O^-2.

This gives you Fe2O3.

What is the pressure change if you have a constant volume of gas at a pressure of 101 kPa at 25 degrees Celsius and increase its
kvv77 [185]
Since volume is constant, we can use guy lussac's law
(that is the equation with no volume in it).

101/ ( 25 + 273 ) = x / ( 35 + 273)
x = 104.389 kPa
