Answer:

Q = PV(In 4)

Explanation:

We are told that the volume expands from V to a state with volume 4V.

Thus, initial volume is V and Final volume is 4V.

We want to find How much heat is added to the expanding gas.

For an isothermal process, the work done is calculated from;

W = nRT(In(V_f/V_i))

Where;

V_f is final volume

V_i is initial volume

Thus;

W = nRT(In(4V/V))

W = nRT(In 4)

Now, from ideal gas equation, we know that;

PV = nRT

Thus;

W = PV(In 4)

Now from first law of thermodynamics, we know that internal energy is zero and thus; Q = W

Where Q is quantity of heat

Thus;

Q = PV(In 4)

Sound travels slower in colder air than it does in warmer air. Make a claim about the effect of air temperature on the speed of
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer: The temperature of the air affects the speed of sound in the due to the fact that colder contains air molecules with low kinetic energy. For warm air the kinetic energy of the molecules is high causing them to move in rapid motion. Because of these vibrations and collisions sound waves moves in a faster rate.

Answer:

There are 4 liquids in this experiment and red is the least dense of all of them so it should float on top, which it is doing.

The red that you see at the bottom is neither liquid nor is it a part of the experiment.

It is simply the color of the bottom of the container that the experiment was conducted in.

If the oceans of the earth got warmer from global warming, would the water of the oceans become more or less salty? What do you
Andru [333]
I have two different answers. One is what the shcool most likely wants you to think and the other is the truth.

School: The waters could become more or less salty. Warm water is less dense than cold water so it will sit on top of cold water. It would very bad for plants because not all plants can live in such saltiness conditions.

Global Warming isn't a thing. It's fake, scientist have lied about it, and it's entirely false. The salt from the ocean comes from the constant bashing of ocean waves on the rocks. "Warm water is less dense than cold water so it will sit on top of cold water." is true, but that doesn't mean the oceans will be more salty if it is warmer, that just says how dense the salt and water is. it can be warmer or colder doesn't matter.

Hope it helps please let me know.
