and sphere B has a horizontal velocity of 5 m/s.
__ 6.    If both spheres leave the edge of the table at the same instant, sphere A hits the floor at the spot marked X.  Sphere B will hit the floor
a.    at some point between the edge of the table and X.
b.    at some point past X.
c.    at the same distance from the table as X.

Sphere A travels a horizontal distance of (10 m/s) <em>t</em> after time <em>t</em>, while sphere B travels a distance of (5 m/s) <em>t</em>. So sphere B lands on the floor some point between the table's edge and the point X (A).

When Earth and the Moon are separated by a

     Using the Universal Gratitation Law, we have:

F= \frac{MmG}{d^2}  \\ MmG=2*10^{20}*(3.84*10^8)^2 \\ MmG=29.4912*10^36

     Again applying the formula in the new situation, comes:

F= \frac{MmG}{d^2} \\ F= \frac{29.4912*10^36}{(1.92*10^8)^2} \\ \boxed {F=8*10^{20}}

The multi-link mechanism in the Variable Compression Turbo Engine _____, thus varying the compression ratio.
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

A. Adjusts how far down the piston travels

Explanation:

This type of engine changes the possition of the piston in order to modify the compression chamber volume and therefore the compression ratio of the engine. The volume of the chamber is proportional to the run of the piston (how far down the piston travels)

This engine is used to achive the optimal compression rate in each individual stage.

How does reducing the mass of a moving object by half (1/2) change its kinetic energy?
allochka39001 [22]
Kinetic energy = 1/2 m v²
If we reduce the mass by half > m/2
Kinetic energy = 1/2 m/2 v²
We should know that 1/2 × 1/2 = 1/4
So kinetic energy will be :
1/4 × m × v²
