Answer: Examples of nonrenewable resources include crude oil, natural gas, coal, and uranium. These are all resources that are processed into products that can be used commercially. For example, the fossil fuel industry extracts crude oil from the ground and converts it to gasoline.

Which of the following is NOT an illuminated object?
Korolek [52]

Answer:

The answer here would be light bulb.

Explanation:

An Illuminated object is simply something that reflects light. And everything in the list is illuminated except the light bulb. Humans reflect light in the same way as desks and sidewalks. If we didn't we wouldn't technically be able to see other humans unless they were luminous. This brings me to the nest point. A light bulb is a luminous object because <em>it creates light on its own. </em>

A good example would be this:

The Sun is a luminous object

The Moon is a illuminated object

I hope this helped and didn't confuse you more, I kind of went all over the place with the explanation. Either way, if you need more help feel free to let me know! :)

What is the difference between unicellular and multicellular organisms?
bija089 [108]
Multicellular organisms<span> can be much larger and more complex. This is because the cells of the </span>organism<span> have specialised into many different types of cells such as nerve cells, blood cells, muscle cells all performing different functions.

</span><span>A unicellular organism, also known as a single-celled organism, is an organism that consists of only one cell, unlike a multicellular organism that consists of more than one cell.

Two parallel slits are illuminated by light composed of two wavelengths. Wavelength A is 564 nm and the other is wavelength B an
anygoal [31]

Answer:

423nm

Explanation:

To find the unknown wavelength you take into account the distance y to the maximum central fringe, for light fringes and dark fringes.

- for light fringes:

dsin\theta=m\lambda\\\\sin\theta\approx\theta=\frac{y}{D}\\\\y=\frac{m\lambda_1D}{d}

- for dark fringes:

y=\frac{m\lambda_2/2 D}{d}

The third-order bright fringe (m= 3) of wavelength A coincides with the fourth dark fringe (m=4) of the wavelength B. Hence you have that:

\frac{(3)\lambda_1D}{d}=\frac{(4)\lambda_2D}{d}\\\\\lambda_2=\frac{3}{4}\lambda_1=\frac{3}{4}(564nm)=423nm

hence, the wavelength B is 423nm

1.33 m^3 of fluid flows out of a pipe in 24.5 s. the fluid leaves the pipe at 3.55 m/s. what is the area of the pipe. (unit=m^2)
Margaret [11]

Answer:

0.015meter^{2}

Explanation:

Total volume of water coming out = 1.33meter^{3}

Also volume = Cross sectional area*Length covered

Length covered = Velocity *time

                           =24.5*3.55

                           =86.97 meter

Let the cross sectional area be A.

1.33 = 86.97*A

A =0.015meter^{2}
