ILL GIVE THE BEST ANSWER BRAINLIEST I PROMISE AND ILL THANK EVERY ANSWER A polar bear is able to walk on ice without breaking it
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

Polar bears (Ursus maritimus) are of special interest because of their large size, white color and position as the top-level carnivore in the remote arctic environment. They occur only in the northern hemisphere nearly always in association with sea ice. They have only two colors of fur: tan and white. Polar bears were created to withstand cold temperatures and are quite adaptable. Polar bears are ferocious and the most dangerous of bears. They can lop a person's head off with one swoop of their paw.

A rope pulls a 20 kg box up. If the tension in the rope is 275 N, what is the acceleration of the box?
Nana76 [90]

Answer:

<h3>The answer is 13.75 m/s²</h3>

Explanation:

The acceleration of an object given it's mass and the force acting on it can be found by using the formula

a =  \frac{f}{m}  \\

f is the force

m is the mass

From the question we have

a =  \frac{275}{20}  =  \frac{55}{4}  \\

We have the final answer as

<h3>13.75 m/s²</h3>

Hope this helps you

A bungee jumper of mass 80kg jumps from a platform.
klio [65]

The speed he was moving at when he finished falling is 30 m/s.

The given parameters;

mass of the bungee, m = 80 kg

impulse provided by the rope, J = 3200 Ns

initial upward velocity of the jumper, u = 10 m/s

  • Let the final velocity after falling = v
  • Let the upwards motion = negative
  • Let the downwards motion when falling = positive

Apply the principle of conservation of linear momentum;

J = ΔP = Δmv = m(v - u)

3200 = 80(v - (-10))

3200 = 80(v + 10)

v+ 10 = \frac{3200}{80} \\\\v+ 10 = 40\\\\v = 40-10\\\\v = 30 \ m/s

Thus, the speed he was moving at when he finished falling is 30 m/s.
