X represent the number of laps Marcy swam, 1 1/4x represent the number of times Toni swam.

20 + 0.80(1 1/4x) + 15 + 0.85x = 257
20 + x + 15 + 0.85x = 257
1.85x + 35 = 257

Required equation is 1.85x + 35 = 257

What is the height of a rectangular prism that has a volume 192 cubic feet and a base with an area of 48 square feet?
Westkost [7]

Answer:

A rectangular prism has 3 measurements: length (l), width (w), and height (h)

The volume of a rectangular prism has the formula: V=lwh

The area of the base of the rectangular prism is its length times its width; or

Area of base = lw

So, the volume of the rectangular prism can be written as:

Volume = area of the base * height

Substitute in your numbers:

192=48*h

h=192/48

h=4

So the height is 4 feet

Step-by-step explanation: Hope this helps. :))

The perimeter is the length of the outline of a shape. To find the perimeter of a rectangle or square you have to add the lengths of all the four sides.

10 cm + 12 cm + 5 cm + 6 cm
