Is it easier to remove on electron from a sodium (Na) or aluminum (Al) atom? From Na+ or Al+? From Na2+ or Al2+?

Answer: It's easier for sodium to lose an electron because it has one valence electron whereas aluminum three valence electrons. It's easier for sodium in the other two examples as well because of the valance electrons and because it is very reactive with most elements because it really wants to get rid of the extra electron n the valance shell.

All crystals have the same internal arrangement of atoms.
a. True
b. False
zhenek [66]
B - False. The crystals have the same internal arrangement of atoms in the same species. For example, all crystals of quartz (Onion, Amethyst, Citrine, Smoky) have the same trigonometrical arrangement.

The boiling point of water is a _____ property and is equal to _____.
sergejj [24]
The boiling point of water is a physical property and is equal to 100°C.

More in depth:

The reason why the boiling point is a physical property, is because it chemically doesn't change anything inside the water. It just gets to a point where it becomes so hot it starts boiling.
