Answer:

I would say a cooled

Explanation:

because yeah it's going to be cold when it travels from Antarctica but then it's going on towards Africa and yeah the water is going to get warmth but it's going to cool the land of Antarctica because it's so dry and hot and humid but the water is going to be more warmed because Antarctica the water is freezing so you're trying to ask the temperature of the water it'd be more warm if you're trying to ask kind of like the temperature of the land it would be cooled

When of a certain molecular compound X are dissolved in of dibenzyl ether , the freezing point of the solution is measured to be
kondaur [170]

This question is incomplete, the complete question is;

When 4.28 g of a certain molecular compound X are dissolved in 60.0 g of dibenzyl ether [(C₆H₅CH₂)₂0] , the freezing point of the solution is measured to be -3.2°C . Calculate the molar mass of X.

If you need any additional information on dibenzyl ether, use only what you find in the ALEKS Data resource. Also, be sure your answer has a unit symbol, and is rounded to significant digit.

Answer: molar mass of solute (X) is 88.03 g/mol

Explanation:

Given that;

mass of solute = 4.28 g

mass of solvent = 60.0 g = 0.060 kg        (Dibenzyl ether)

depression constant kf = 6.17 °CKg/mol

Freezing Point of solvent T₀ = 1.80°C       (Dibenzyl ether)

freezing point of solution Tsol = -3.20°C

Now we know that

Depression in freezing point ΔTf = depression constant kf × molaity m

and (ΔTf = T₀-Tsol)

so T₀ - Tsol = kf × m

we substitute

1.80 - (-3.20) = 6.17  × m

5 = 6.17 × m

m = 5 / 6.17

m = 0.8103 kg/mol

so molaity m = 0.8103 kg/mol

we know that

Molaity of solute m = (mass of solute / M.wt of solute) × ( 1 / mass of solvent in Kg)

solve for molar mass of solute

molar mass of solute =  (mass of solute / molaity) × ( 1 / mass of solvent in Kg)

now we substitute

molar mass = (4.28g / 0.8103 kg/mol) × (1 / 0.060kg)

molar mass = ( 5.2839 × 16.66 ) g/mol

molar mass = 88.0297 g/mol ≈ 88.03 g/mol

Therefore molar mass of solute (X) is 88.03 g/mol

Represent the formation of cations for the following metal atoms using electron dot structures. (a) Al (b) Sr (c) Ba
vagabundo [1.1K]

the formation of cations by using electron dot structures are :

a) Al

.

Al .    losing the three valence electrons makes the Al³⁺

.

b) Sr :

  Sr :  losing the two valence electrons makes Sr²⁺

c) Ba

: Ba , losing the two valence electrons makes it Ba²⁺

A Lewis electron dot diagram is a representation of the valence electrons of an atom that employments specks around the image of the element. The number of dots equals the number of valence electrons within the molecule. These dots are arranged to the right and left and over and underneath the symbol, with no more than two dots on a side. Cations are the positive ions shaped by the loss of one or more electrons. The foremost commonly shaped cations of the representative elements are those that include the loss of all of the valence electrons.

Find the mass of each of these substances? 2.40 mol NaOH
damaskus [11]
Na = 23 x 2.40 = 55.2
O = 16 x 2.40 = 38.4
H = 1 x 2.40 = 2.40

55.2 + 38.4 + 2.4 = 96

2.40 mol of NaOH = 96 amu

How does mass affect potential energy?
Andreyy89

What i would say: The amount of gravitational potential energy an object has depends on its height and mass. The heavier the object and the higher it is above the ground, the more gravitational potential energy it holds. Gravitational potential energy increases as weight and height increases.

Hope this helps! :)

Molarity formula what is the molarity of a solution in which 3 moles of nacl is dissolved in 1.5 kg of water
Igoryamba
Molarity is..
1.5 kg H₂O = 1.5L H₂O
So...
\frac{moles}{volume} = molarity
\frac{3.0 mol}{1.5L} = molarity
2M = molarity
